| Sara Ann Sargent, owner of The Sargent's Group, worked as a court reporter for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for six years before opening her own court reporting firm in 1980. Since that time, she has expanded Sargent's Court Reporting Service, Inc. to 14 offices, employing over 200 people, as well as adding Sargent's Personnel Agency Inc., Sargent's Transcription Service, Inc., and Sargent's USA Inc.
Sara has won numerous business-related awards, including 1995's Small Business Person of the Year for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania by the U.S. Small Business Administration.
She is an active member of many community organizations, including United States National Bank Board of Directors; Greater Johnstown Community Foundation; Johnstown Area Regional Industries; Talus Rock Girl Scout Council; and St. Francis University.
